Looking Ahead

I had the pleasure of recently photographing this handsome young man.

His school years are on the count-down side of nearing an end and of course, his thoughts are on the future.

He’s going places, I have no doubt at all.

I’m so very glad to have had the opportunity to get to know you, Sam. Please find the rest of your photos here.

A Girl and Her Horse

There’s something special between a girl and her horse. It is a bond that withstands time and proves to be a connection stronger than steel.

Watching this beautiful young lady and beloved horse, I could tell that connection exists for certain.

Happy senior year, Alena! Thank you for picking me to preserve your memories. Please find the rest of your images here.

Family in the Countryside

Family pictures usually include those people in groups with the closest connections. The session is wonderful, fun and calm.

There are generations. Grandparents smile in pride next to their grandchildren.

The photos often include moms and dads next to their children who are all-too-fast growing, changing, learning, and sometimes teaching us.

On occasion, the family pictures also include the special family members – and that’s when things literally go to the dogs! Literally.

This is my favorite of the family!

This is a family I am honored to know and to be able to photograph.

Turning One in the World

When you are one year old, you may be little, but chances are good that you have very strong feelings about those important things in life.

Sports.  You love sports.  Specifically balls that roll and can be thrown.

You have that one special friend who goes everywhere with you…

…and who makes sure you are safe, warm, and have plenty of puppy kisses.

You have those really super special big people who hold you when you’re scared or tired, help you put your super stylish clothes on, feed you, and just really make you feel extra important all the time.

You love all of that for sure. Being one is so much fun!

But, when you are one, you maybe are not so in love with that gooey sticky feeling of frosting on your fingers.

And that’s ok because you’re super adorable.  Happy journeys little man.  I hope you enjoy your second year of life as much as your first.  Please find the rest of your photos here.

For the Love of Horse

I always consider myself so fortunate to be able to see our young people from time-to-time when new pictures are needed and I think it’s especially perfect when the person happens to be a young lady with a love for horses similar to my own love for them.

It’s also especially wonderful to think that I first met her when she was very new to life some time ago and to see the truth behind what 14 years is. It is growing up. It is a reflection of kindness. It is beauty.

It is also the result of two wonderful people.

Thank you for sharing your time and your beautiful daughter with me. It is always my pleasure to see you.  Please find the rest of your session photos here.
