An Intimate Affair

The wedding of Jennifer and Greg was intimate and elegant.

It was held at the ever-beautiful W. K. Kellogg Manor House.

The ladies were lovely and though the day was quite warm, it was gloriously beautiful with the sun shining down.

The guys were ready and waiting with smiles.

The ceremony was held lake-side.

The “I dos” were shared and Jennifer and Greg were officially married.

We had some quiet moments for pictures before heading indoors.

The place is so beautiful in the springtime.

Jennifer and Greg were introduced to the guests who were waiting…

…to snap some pictures of their own.

Congratulations to you both, Jennifer and Greg. Please view the rest of your online album here. I hope you had a wonderful honeymoon!

A Haven for Romance

Sarah and David are one of those couples who are fun to be around. I knew when I saw their engagement photo shoot on the calendar that I was going to have a great time and I was right.

We headed off to South Haven for their pictures.

There was no other place for them because the beach at South Haven is the very place where they became engaged.

It is a place that will be forever etched in their history.

We had to reschedule once because of freezing temperatures and lack of sun, but the second date was absolutely perfect!

I had a great time playing with the sunlight in their pictures.

We walked around and found so many perfect niches along the way for the two of them.

South Haven is a special haven for Sarah and David. They have great taste — it’s one of my favorite places as well. It’s a place that is both romantic and fun. Like the two of them.

The evening ended perfectly with a gorgeous sunset.

Thanks for a wonderful evening, Sarah and David. You are both fabulous! View the rest of your online engagement gallery here.

Capturing Happiness

Whenever I’m around Ashleigh and Matthew, I feel a certain level of energy from them.

Happiness seems to radiate from them and surround them. They appear to be in love with life as well as each other and it shows on their faces.

Everything they do, they seem to do with 100% devotion.

The other impression I have of them is that they are both very kind to each other and to everyone around them.

When I asked Ashleigh if she had a location preference for their engagement session, she told me to pick a place I’ve always wanted to use but had not yet had the opportunity.

I knew just the place.

I had a great time discovering new photo locations with them.

Thank you Ashleigh and Matthew.

I hope you both had as much fun as I did! I’m really looking forward to your wedding. Go here to view the rest of your engagement session.

Just Before the Rain

I met Jessica and Andrew at Milham Park for their recent engagement session.

Andrew was in town for the weekend, so we had a limited amount of time to work with and we had to plan around rain in the forecast.

After rescheduling a few times, we got the session done minutes before the rain started falling. I was in my car driving home when the rain came.

The cloudy skies let through the perfect amount of light.

Jessica and Andrew were very fun to work with!

They were very open to ideas for poses and brought with them some ideas of their own — like incorporating the playground into their pictures — which I loved.

Congratulations to Jessica and Andrew.

You make a gorgeous couple and I can hardly wait for the wedding! Go here to view the rest of your session.
