Over the past few weeks, I have had the absolute pleasure of meeting so many awesome newly engaged couples. I’ve been busy at the bridal expos and as a result have been fortunate to have several wedding consultations with some very exciting people. I’m really looking forward to the 2010 wedding season!
Yes, it’s cold outside. Snow is plentiful here and if you look at the forecast for the next 10 days, it’s pretty much the same thing for quite a while. But, I’ve been lucky enough to have some indoor sittings recently so I’ve been able to keep warm by the glow of my studio lights. So far, the year has been off to a wonderful start for me and I am so very thankful I can say that.
I really do think this is the best job in the world and if anyone is thinking of getting into photography, I can’t begin to express how much fun it is. This is especially true if you love working with people because the people are what makes it so wonderful. If you are thinking about it–I say, grab your dreams, hold onto them and do everything you can to make them happen. Even if you don’t want to become pro–I encourage you to grab your camera and take pictures of everything and anything that inspires you. There’s so much beauty in the every-day things no matter where you live or what season it is.
The people I get to work with help keep the winter feeling wonderful. The amazing couples I’m meeting these days are just glowing with the excitement of being engaged and in love and I absolutely cannot wait to be a part of their wedding days!
